1. A great way to pass your time when family and friends cannot visit you, is to read! If you are sure you are going to be staying in the hospital for a longer duration, having a good book to read is one of the most recommended ways to spend your time. Magazines are also another great choice that can entertain you and keep you up-to-date on current affairs and what is happening in the world we live in.
2. Play games! If you have a tablet such as an iPad or a Game Boy, bring it. You will have the down time to pass that level of Candy Crush you have been trying to beat for months. Spend endless hours playing games and stop counting the tiles on the ceiling. There are apps for anything you could dream of out there in the internet gaming world.
